There are two types of electric water heaters:
a)Electric Storage Water Heater -A storage water heater will deliver hot water at a specified, pre-set temperature upto 75°C. It has a tank that stores water and when switched on, the water is heated to the temperature set and can be used later for bathing.
b)Electric Instant Water Heater -An instant water heater heats the water as it flows through the device. A low waiting time is one of its main advantages. However, an instant water heater will not deliver adequate hot water in areas with a cold climate. It only works well in areas with a moderate climate such as Mumbai.
